EU-Kenya cooperation to boost the transformative impact of higher education

Dr. Gogo of Pwani University attended the “EU-Kenya cooperation to boost the transformative impact of higher education: Erasmus CBHE Meeting” at NACOSTI, Plaza, Nairobi, Kenya, on 2nd June 2026.
“This meeting featured panel discussions, interactive group sessions, and valuable networking opportunities supporting peer exchange and learning experience.
The meeting offered a timely opportunity to showcase the powerful collaboration between Kenyan and European actors in higher education. I was able to listen to how these partnerships are boosting innovation, advancing institutional reform, strengthening skills, and enhancing learning outcomes and employability.
I was thrilled to learn that Kenya has the second highest participation in the Erasmus Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) action in Sub-Saharan Africa and that the EU is seriously boosting its investments in key sectors in Kenya, along with support to higher education.
A big thank you to Advalue Project for the facilitation to attend this valuable meeting!”
